Privacy policy
How Auralis handles personal information on our website and in Auralis Control System (ACS), including information from accounts that sign in with Google.
About Auralis and this policy
Auralis builds audio software, including ARANGAM and Auralis Control System (ACS). ACS lets you sign in, access your software, and install, update, and manage Auralis products. This policy covers our website, account services, and ACS.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, account identifier, and authentication information needed to create and secure your account.
- Google sign-in information: when you choose Continue with Google, Google provides your account identifier, email address and verification status, and basic profile information such as your name and profile picture, subject to the permissions shown by Google.
- Product and support information: records of your purchases, software access, and information you submit in feedback or support requests.
- Technical information: request and security logs, browser or device information, and software version information needed to operate and troubleshoot our services. ACS checks installed Auralis software locally to show installation and update status.
- Waitlist information: the email address you provide when you choose to join our waitlist.
Google accounts
For accounts connected with Google, we retain the account information needed to identify your Auralis account and maintain your software access. Contact support if you need another way to sign in. Google sign-in uses basic identity, email, and profile permissions; it does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts, or calendars. Google does not share your Google password with Auralis.
We do not sell Google user data, use it for personalised advertising, or use it to train general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. Auralis’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How we use other information
We use account and product records to manage software access and purchases, deliver downloads and updates, answer support requests, secure our services, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. If you join the waitlist, we use your email to manage it and send product or launch updates. You can unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time.
Sharing and service providers
Supabase processes account information and sign-in sessions for authentication and database services. Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery, and infrastructure. Email delivery providers process recipient and message information to deliver our emails. These providers process information to perform their services for Auralis. Google processes sign-in under its own privacy policy.
We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, or secure our services. We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, depending on the service provider.
Storage, retention, and security
Authentication and account records are stored in our service providers’ systems. Website sign-in uses session cookies; ACS stores sign-in credentials in the operating system’s credential store. We use encrypted connections and access controls to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security.
We retain account information while needed to provide your account and software access. On a deletion request, we remove or de-identify information that is no longer needed, subject to purchase, fraud-prevention, backup, and legal retention requirements. Purchase records may retain identifiers needed to maintain transaction records. Security logs and backups may remain until their retention cycles expire.
Your choices, revocation, and deletion
You can stop using Google sign-in and revoke Auralis’s access through your Google Account connections. Revoking Google access does not automatically delete your Auralis account or purchase records.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information or Auralis account, email dev@auralis-audio.com from your account email address. This includes accounts created with Google that do not have an Auralis password. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
